Well done for just keeping going!
I am hearing from God loud and clear these days about loving oneself, about not judging yourself - in fact, one book He led me to told me that God does not judge us, we just do it to ourselves.
'Loving-kindness toward ourselves doesn't mean getting rid of anything.... We can still be timid or jealous or full of feelings of unworthiness. The point is not to try to change ourselves. . . It's about befriending who we are already. ' and this prayer ... 'O Friend, always wanting the best for us, trusting us with justice and love: Come walk beside us and share our joys and fears.'
I'd love to spend more time with you sometime - or chat online maybe?
God bless
BridgetAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-725161693570079674.post-48041101827552985182011-12-02T02:58:10.791+00:002011-12-02T02:58:10.791+00:00I knew I should have emailed you the other day! Y...I knew I should have emailed you the other day! You have been on my mind, and I apologize for not acting on my thoughts.
I certainly know the feeling of being all used up. Bob's complaints may not be as medically serious as your MR's, but he complains just as loudly, I'm sure! Usually I take all I can stand, then have a blow up, and sure enough things get better in a week or two, and I'm left thinking "I could have held out that much longer." It's just like labor - the worst part is thinking it will last forever.
Forgive me if this is inappropriate, but shouldn't April be helping with the little ones? I don't like to make older sisters into the step-mother, but in this time of crisis you might just have to call on her more than you would normally.
Is MR still going to work?? How's retirement/medical discharge going? The leap out of the Force is a big one, but stress levels go WAY down once you do it.
I'm here if you want to email or whatever. You may be half-way around the world but you are surely not alone.MamaOlivehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12917138266127672566noreply@blogger.com
